Philadelphia Judo Evolution

Philadelphia Judo Evolution (PJE) provides opportunities to discover the mental and physical benefits of the Olympic sport of judo by hosting community events and bolstering local participation. PJE generates resources for Philadelphia area athletes, including needs-based scholarships. These actions help grow the judo community in Philadelphia. 

Our vision is to be one of USA’s largest hub for judo; to build a collaborative environment with high quality training, economic opportunities to participate in the sport, and a community that draws individuals and families to want to train and learn in Philadelphia.

How your contribution helps:

• $2500 supplies a 1 year scholarship
• $1000 provides pay for a world level clinician
• $500 provides a free community event
• $100 provides one judo uniform to a student in need
• $75 provides registration costs for a local tournament
• $20 paying a coach for a local event

With local Paralympians and World level competitors already in Philadelphia, we look forward to your support in providing more opportunties to inspire and create more judo athletes in the Philadelphia area.  With your help- the mental, communal, and physical health benifits of judo can be experienced by more individuals!
