The Little Flower Group is a local charity (501c3) dedicated to offering children's basic needs without cost to parents and family education in the State of Georgia. Our mission is to transform our culture of giving and receiving to safeguard every child's basic needs through charity, life-changing experiences, and education.

YOUR IMPACT

This event is a valuable opportunity to reach our community and inform them about the public and private resources available during pregnancy and after childbirth. The outreach has a tangible health impact: Research has shown that community baby showers can increase awareness about infant mortality, which, along with maternal mortality, is particularly high in our state. Georgia has a high pregnancy-related maternal mortality ratio, with between 35 and 40 mothers dying each year. The state's ratio is 25.9 pregnancy-related deaths per 100,000 live births, compared to the national ratio of 17 pregnancy-related deaths per 100,000 live births in the United States.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE

Our Community Baby Shower takes place twice a year. Our invitations to our events are open to the public. We also invite social workers from hospitals like Northeast GA (Braselton & Gainesville), nonprofit organizations like Wellroot, and churches in the area. There is also an incredible collaboration with WIC offices and Health Departments of various counties to make sure that we serve our underserved population.

It is part of our celebration of life event to ensure that mamas receive vital information on a healthy pregnancy, newborn care resources, mental health, nutrition, and spiritual guidance.

Each mom-to-be receives a new baby bag, baby clothing from 3-6 months, a pack of diapers, wipes, pacifiers, bottles, and maternity items like pads. They also have access for free to baby items like cribs, strollers, baby car seats, and more.

The families in our community will benefit tremendously from your contribution. By contributing financially, you are enabling the power of service and health! Your support will ensure that each family is ready mentally, spiritually, and materially to welcome their new baby.

When you participate in our Baby Showers you are showcasing your leadership role in our community! Your financial contribution will bring to your organization these benefits:

• Special mentions during the promotion phase and the day of the event.

• A rectangular promotional table so you can showcase your products/services during the event. This is a great opportunity to have one-on-one with mamas.

• A five-minute presentation of your services during the event.

• Extensive social media coverage.
