Bakhita Mountain Home (BMH) offers an opportunity for survivors of sex trafficking a space to continue to heal and grow individually while connecting to a supportive community. BMH is an independent communal living program that provides support for ongoing goal development and attainment. BMH is a rent-free program where residents may stay up to two years while working towards their individual goals. Residents basic needs are met while at BMH and are able to focus on themselves and healing rather than many stresses associate with everyday life.
This program prioritizes safety, empowering individual wholeness, and offering life enhancing skills.
BMH also places a strong emphasis on the importance of community and building safe, healthy, trusting relationships.
