Baptized Opening the Gift - July 2025
An online class for clergy and lay leaders to equip them to do effective Baptismal Prep with families, but useful for the whole parish. This online class consists of four 90 minute sessions meeting on Zoom.

This class empowers church leaders to offer a robust baptismal preparation class that speaks to the spiritual needs of all ages but especially young parents.
Included are lesson plans in the form of an illustrated slide show, handouts, and a meditation on baptism that will empower you to do Baptismal Formation that is welcoming, interactive, and discussion based. It invites growth into a positive and relational understanding of God and Holy Baptism that takes the promises of baptism seriously and connects them to life and parenting.
Joyce is an Episcopal priest with 40 years experience in offering formation in the parish. Before ordination I taught high potential learning disabled teens.
