Opportune Acres: Barn Fundraiser

In 2021, Opportune Acres needed a physical location to build and grow.   Kari & Shade Whalen decided to build a barn/arena to support the mission.  Having a specially designed structure would allow us to serve more individuals and make a variety of programs available year-round. 

Anxiously waiting, the Opportune Acres board saw construction stall. Months turned into years.  Now construction is on hold indefinitely.  Construction and contractor complications has put all equine-assisted therapy and other desired programs on hold.  In the last two years the cost of materials and construction as skyrocketed.  We are looking for support to get our barn enclosed before winter.
