Starter Smoker for an Army Veteran Candidate

Hello, My Chow Line Family!

We are fundraising over the next few weeks to save for a good quality starter smoker for an Army Veteran who has been identified as a top candidate by My Chow Line's founder and pitmaster, Tracy. Our candidate is only a few hours from where we live, and he has expressed genuine interest in learning more about outdoor cooking on many occasions. Not only would the $1,850 allow us to purchase and deliver the smoker to him, but it will also cover travel expenses. We will stay in town for a few days helping him get to know his smoker; he will also receive one-on-one instructions on the basics of maintaining his new smoker, and the basics of smoking some awesome meals! Plus, we may be able to add in some other awesome surprise gifts!

As of right now, we are not able to share details of his story for privacy reasons (and because he follows us on social media) ... it's a surprise! But we hope to have lots of pictures upon delivery, etc., and with his permission, we will share his story at a later date.
