Rethinking Reuse: 2023 Appeal

With the climate crisis intensifying, the reuse of building materials has come into focus as a powerful tool for reducing carbon emissions. The Reuse Center at BBR keeps good-quality materials out of the landfill and makes them available at affordable prices, extending their useful life and making it possible for lower-income homeowners to keep their homes in good repair. The embodied carbon invested in the manufacture of these materials is sequestered.
