My coworkers and I recently launched a new organization: Slingshot.

At Slingshot, we work side by side with the communities most impacted by environmental threats to hold polluters accountable and build community power. We have the organizing know-how, the deep relationships, and the flexibility to grow into our fullest potential. We are proud to be paying our staff a livable wage and collectively crafting a supportive work culture that actively dismantles oppression. We will show up for communities and organize with compassion, humility, fierce love, and joy to build a more just world.

Our name represents our fearlessness in the face of powerful corporate greed, our drive in the face of the inertia of an unjust and polluting status quo, and our resourcefulness in the face of a system designed to exclude and ignore. Together with community leaders, we will build the movement that propels our region toward the future we envision.

Our team is excited to be starting Slingshot under the fiscal sponsorship of the Conservation Law Foundation (CLF). While this page is labeled as CLF, your contribution will go to Slingshot.

We have big plans for the years to come! Stopping pipelines, closing landfills, overhauling our regional energy grid, fighting PFAS, turning off the tap of contamination, and so much more. The best birthday present you could give me would be a donation to support our work!
