2024 BDC Book Fundraiser

Hello! Thank you so much for considering donating to our 2024 book drive to benefit the newly diagnosed diabetes patients of the Barbara Davis Clinic (BDC) in Denver, CO! I was a new patient there 27 years ago and this benefit is so close to my heart!

This is my third year running this book drive through PaperPie (formally Usborne Books and More). The last campaign we ran in 2022 was a huge success, and the BDC is now in need of more materials to pass out to their new patients/families! The books we donate include comforting story books to the youngest patients and calming workbooks that help with fear and worry to the older kids. Last year we raised enough money to donate around 150 books to the BDC. They see an average of 25-30 new disgnoses a month, so those books lasted for about 6 months!

This year I would love to make this comfort last just as long, so my goal is to raise $1500 to go towards these books. Thanks to PaperPie's matching policy this gets $2250 worth of books to the BDC, which is enough to last more like 9 months!
