Our Mission

Be Inclusive, Inc. creates inclusive communities by lifting the voices of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC); recognizing diverse cultures and intersectional experiences; and supporting healthy racial identity development and ongoing anti-racist learning through education, community events, programming, and resources.

Multicultural Books Initiative

The Multicultural Books Initiative is a parent and community-led effort that creates visibility of books that lift the voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and recognize all diverse cultures within the Walpole (MA) school system.

Juneteenth

In 2020 Shantae Holmes organized Walpole’s first annual Juneteenth celebration. Inspired to take action, she reached out to the town, and the celebration was held on the town common. This new tradition continued into 2021, and plans for 2022 are already in the works.
