• Participants can run ads and market their own events, reaching an engaged, citywide creative audience.

When It Is

• Twice a month: 1st and 3rd Saturdays

• Time: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM  via Lumpen Radio

• Fully virtual and accessible from anywhere in Chicago

Why It Matters

Chicago’s creative community needs an accessible, affordable virtual space to market events, engage in meaningful dialogue, and stay connected each month. Soundboard Saturdays, created in collaboration with Lumpen Radio, delivers exactly that: a citywide hub for artists, activists, and community voices outside mainstream media. Lumpen Radio is a volunteer-powered, independent platform dedicated to uplifting local talent and fostering cultural conversations.
