Thank you for responding to the emergency that kids and families are facing! They are literally out in the cold.
Only a few years ago, finding a family in CT living in their car would have been a 4-alarm response. Now, because of the incredibly high cost of everything, especially housing, we have nearly 60 families trying to live and go to school and work while living in tents or cars. As a mom, it's inconceivable.
We CAN get families out of the cold and into homes. Please make a donation because a pot of flexible dollars is what's missing -- it's the difference between tucking a child into a warm bed or spending a night in fear in the cold.
