Benjamin “Ben” Ellis, 33, of Austin, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2026, in his hometown. He was born on September 6, 1992, in Austin to Janice and Dan Ellis.

Ben was a devoted son, brother, and an extraordinary friend whose loyalty and steadfast presence defined what it truly means to be a friend. He had a rare gift for showing up for the people he loved, offering unwavering support, laughter, and companionship through every chapter of life. He also had a deep passion for music, which brought him joy and was something he loved sharing with others.

Ben earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas, an accomplishment that reflected his dedication and determination.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his adventurous spirit, and the deep bonds he formed with family and friends. His presence brought comfort, strength, and joy to so many, and his memory will live on in the lives he touched.

Ben is survived by his loving parents, Janice and Dan Ellis; his brother, Johnny; along with countless friends who considered him family.

A celebration of Ben’s life will be held at a later date. In honor of his love for the outdoors, those who knew him are encouraged to spend time in nature and remember the moments shared with him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
