About Benefit Big Sky

Benefit Big Sky is the 501(c)(3) non-profit arm of the Big Sky Owners Association, working on projects that support recreation, education, the arts, environmental stewardship, safety, and essential infrastructure in our community.

The organization connects community members, local organizations, government agencies, and volunteers around shared projects. Funding comes through partnerships, grants, and community donations.

The Huntley-Kern Pond restoration is the Benefit Big Sky's flagship project. This initiative is converting the pond on Little Coyote Road into a community recreational space while restoring West Fork Gallatin River habitat. The environmental restoration is complete and work continues on the recreational amenities.

The Huntley-Kern Pond is for everyone. Whether you're interested in supporting this project, volunteering, or staying informed about progress, you're welcome to be part of the effort.
