Intro to Vedic Meditation – MWB Benefit Course
Thank you for signing up for the Vedic Meditation Course happening January 5-8th from 1:30-3PM and 6:30-8pm. This is a special class where 100% of the proceeds will be going to the nonprofit Meditation Without Borders to support its current projects.
Vedic Meditation is an effortless, natural and highly beneficial form of meditation. Originating in India thousands of years ago, it is a simple, eyes-closed technique practiced for 20 minutes twice a day. While most other forms of meditation rely on concentration or contemplation, with Vedic Meditation we learn to let go and experience deep relaxation in a simple, easy way. This process allows for years of accumulated stress to unwind layer by layer, revealing the full potential of your body and mind.
This ancient practice is taught over a span of four days. On the first day, you will receive your personalized mantra and then the instruction how to use it properly in an effortless way. The final three days of the course are broken up into 90 minute sessions focused on the different aspects of meditation. We will cover topics such as how meditation causes stress release, different strategies to fit your practice into your daily life, and what it’s like when you start experiencing higher states of consciousness due to meditation.
Park anywhere in front of the fence or gate.
Please bring a couple of sweet fruits and a small bouquet of flowers to the puja ceremony. The following three days, only a notebook if you'd like to take notes.
