February 19 marks one year since our sweet baby Bennett was born. As we approach what would have been his first birthday, we are choosing to honor his beautiful life by continuing the mission that carries his nickname and his heart forward.

In the months since our foundation began, we have had the privilege of supporting families in the NICU at Duke University Hospital. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have delivered over 60 support kits and 90+ gift cards to parents navigating some of the most difficult days of their lives. Each kit is a reminder that they are not alone and provides the essentials to help them through their first days and weeks in the NICU. Each gift card is a small but meaningful way to ease the burden during an overwhelming time - coffee to fuel the long days and nights, warm meals to provide some comfort, and a tank of gas to help families financially get to and from seeing their babies each day.

We are deeply grateful for the friends, family, and even strangers who have come alongside us. Because we are a 100% volunteer-run foundation, every single dollar donated goes directly to serving NICU families. Your support turns compassion into tangible help.

As we remember Bennett on his first birthday, we thank everyone who has allowed us to continue this work in his honor. Thank you for keeping our son’s memory alive and for extending hope, comfort, and practical support to families who need it most. 💙 🩵🤍
