Kathie and I have the opportunity to serve those with both physical and spiritual needs in Kenya this summer. As you may recall, Kathie and I had the privilege to serve with Bethany Church in Nkoisusu Kenya, in 2019 and 2023. During that time, we were able to serve and share God’s love to over 300 children, Kathie was able to support the widows in the area, and I was able to assist the Kenya Hope team around the school facilities and property.

This year, Bethany Church will serve with Kenya Hope. This will be one of the first trips through Kenya Hope after the tragic deaths of Dave and Joy Mueller. Again, the focus will be on sharing God’s love to the children and the people of the Nkoisusu area.

There is great need in this world, and like you, Kathie and I are desiring to share God’s love through our skills wherever we can. We are excited to be able to use our capabilities to serve those in Kenya, following the admonition in the Bible which states “look after orphans and widows in their distress”.

The two of us are asking for you to consider supporting us and the teams on these trips. There is much to be done between now and July; planning, purchasing of supplies and travel, and of course immunizations. I would like to ask you to pray for us and the team as we get ready for the trip, for safety during the trip, and of course that we can use the skills we have to bless the people in Kenya. There is also the inevitable cost - funds for travel for the teams and funds for the projects we will be working on in the countries.
