Horse Farm Rescue

This month, members of Operation Providing Hope are deploying to a 125+ acre horse farm north of Marion, North Carolina—part of ground zero for the aftermath of devastating storm damage from Hurricane Helene. Hundreds of trees now lie scattered across the land, and over a mile of fencing has been torn down, leaving approximately 30 beautiful horses trapped in a space far too small for their health and well-being and much smaller than what they are accustomed too.

Right now, these animals—some potentially rescued, others aging—are living in overcrowded conditions, facing rising stress, the threat of injury, and the growing risk of illness. They’ve already endured so much, and we can't let them suffer any longer.

We need your help to raise $10,000 to help fund this mission.

Your donation will provide the fuel, food, lodging, chainsaw repair, fencing materials, and equipment needed for our volunteer team—made up of veterans and first responders—to clear the debris, rebuild the fencing, and restore peace to this sanctuary.

Whether you give $1 or $1000, every dollar brings us closer to giving these horses the space and safety they deserve, and gets a family who lost nearly everything back on their feet after enduring over 8 months of destruction and the follow-on rebuild.

They can’t ask for help. But you can answer the call.

Please give what you can—and help us bring hope back to this farm.
