Revisit our alma mater and enjoy refreshments with fellow alumni.

4:00–8:00 PM: Franklin Music Festival at The Broadside
Wrap up the weekend with live music and fun for all ages.

Support the Frank Peterson Student Publications Fund

In honor of our 25th, we are proud to honor the legacy of Frank Peterson, a beloved former faculty member whose passion for journalism and photography inspired generations of students. Mr. Peterson passed away in 2021. In his memory, we are launching the Frank Peterson Student Publications Fund at Ben Franklin High School with a fundraising goal of $10,000.

This fund will directly support current Franklin student journalists and photographers—whether by purchasing a new camera, upgrading newsroom equipment, or helping students attend national journalism and publication conferences where they can grow their skills, tell powerful stories, and amplify youth voices.

Mr. Peterson believed deeply in the power of storytelling and the importance of student voice. With your support, we can continue his mission by investing in the next generation of truth-seekers, writers, and documentarians.

Donate today and help us carry forward Mr. Peterson’s legacy through a thriving student publications program at Franklin.
