I am participating in the Bound for Peace 2025 Medellin trip to have the opportunity to contribute in making a lasting positive impact for communities! In addition to widening my perspective in learning more about Medellin and its culture. Even small actions such as simply spreading kindness, compassion, and support can go a long way for families!

I have always found myself volunteering in my community whenever possible. Whether it was in a children’s ministry in my hometown or in an ESOL classroom with kindergarten students at a elementary school in Gainesville. I have gravitated towards spreading and showing kindness to younger generations, where I have noticed how far a simple compliment can lighten up a child’s day! I would love to gain a meaningful experience in expanding my perspective, grow further as a person and ultimately in uplifting and supporting more communities through volunteering!
