Fundraising update:

On January 27, an Afghan family of five arrived in Baltimore and was welcomed by the BHC Welcome Circle. The family is now safely settled in their own apartment in Cockeysville, the kids are excited about starting school, the parents are enrolling in ESOL classes, we have a lawyer to help with visa issues, and we are arranging for medical and dental care, access to benefits and employment support. All this was possible through your generous donations and the hard work of many volunteers.

Despite our progress, resettlement is a marathon, not a sprint! Your financial contribution will allow us to provide meaningful support for this family as they continue their journey to become integrated into our community and self-sufficient.
