🚨✈️ BIG NEWS: Freedom Flight – November 7th! 🐾

The Bahamas Humane Society has an airlift planned for November 7th to the USA and Canada – and it's a big one!

Right now BHS has over 80 dogs in its care who are heartworm positive. Normally, these dogs go on the slow-kill protocol – it's gentler on the shelter's budget, but it can take up to 18 months to clear a dog for adoption or travel.

The goal is to raise the funds to treat at least 15 shelter dogs with the faster protocol instead, so they can be cleared in time for this flight. BHS has sourced the drug at cost – treatment depends on the dog's weight, but on average it's just $220 a dog. For 15 dogs = $3,300.

That's the difference between 18 months in the shelter… or a family by November. 🏡❤️
