We're raising money for a variety of needs, including team suits, tournament entry fees, two new shot clocks, deck mats and lane lines to properly demarcate the pool course, training weight belts, team events, and more. We're looking for business sponsors to support us in exchange for banner advertising inside our Natatorium. Did you know that this fall we're hosting 27 home games, two scrimmages, and two alumni games across all four of our water polo programs?! These events attract parents, friends, and fans, not to mention opposing teams from throughout the Bay Area. That's a LOT of exposure!

Berkeley High School has a robust athletic program supporting more then 1400 student athletes playing on 53 teams (freshman, JV, and varsity) in 29 boys and girls sports. The Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF) was formed in 1985 in response to budgetary cutbacks to the athletic department. BAF is made up of parents of athletes–current and alumni–and community members who share a special interest in supporting Berkeley High School’s sports program. We have been raising funds ever since 1985 to supplement the BHS Athletic Program, and now we are needed just to keep the program at its current level.

The mission of the Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF), a non-profit volunteer organization, is to promote athletic and academic excellence and enhance the safety and competitiveness of our sports programs. BAF provides financial assistance and other means of support to our athletic department and its student-athletes and coaches. It is our belief that a strong and successful athletic program promotes an atmosphere of achievement in the entire school community.

We will also consider a discount for multi-year commitments.
