By meeting immediate needs - things as simple as furniture, food, and friendship - we can ease their transition and greatly reduce early stressors and challenges. Imagine navigating a new culture, starting a new job, and speaking a new language full-time, all while not yet knowing where the grocery store is! Together we can provide vital orientation to the community and a place to rest at the end of the day.
