Together, We're Giving Young People the Space to Grow

Time in nature has the power to transform young people. It creates space to disconnect from daily pressures, build meaningful relationships, and discover strengths they may not have known they possessed. On the trail, young people develop confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection to themselves, each other, and the natural world.

At Big City Mountaineers (BCM), we make these experiences possible for youth who face barriers to accessing the outdoors through free, fully outfitted, professionally led wilderness programs grounded in mentorship, challenge, and belonging.

Every program is an opportunity for a young person to discover what's possible. With your support, more youth can build confidence, strengthen social-emotional wellbeing, and develop a lifelong connection to nature.

Make a gift, or become a monthly donor, to help sustain Big City Mountaineers' programs throughout the year. Together, we're creating opportunities for young people to grow, thrive, and carry the lessons of the outdoors with them long after they leave the trail.
