“Music in the Mountains is a true highlight to Montana. It brings the lovers of music, community and the outdoors together as one." We’re known for the Music in the Mountains summer concert series, but that’s not all we do! This past year, we expanded our line up of performers, films and artists-in-residences. We also partnered with 22 local organizations to bring Big Sky 30+ events in our new building too!

“It is incredible to have a space to unleash creative powers, and to experiment, fail, and try again. This is art class...but really these lessons are life lessons!” We had our first multi-week summer camp for kids! It was full of laughter, creativity and fun. Also this year, we installed a few more public art pieces - Brad Rude's To The Skyland - Wolfie installation and our Gibbous bench by the Crucible team adding to our ever growing collection of public art. 

“It creates a whole different culture for kids here (in Big Sky) we haven't had for years. A sense of community in a different way. It expands identity outside of skiing.” And best of all, we moved into our own space at 77 Lone Peak Drive. In this new home of ours, we hope to expand adult art classes with more mediums and more opportunities. We want to add more cultural performers, films and artists.  We have now have a larger space for youth programing, for movement and dance exploration classes and so many more unique events that the Big Sky community can bring to us, so we can connect, create and collaborate.
