We are dedicated to building a sustainable, inclusive, and equitable economy, but we know we can’t close the racial wealth gap in our community using investment capital alone. Philanthropic support is a necessary part of the solution: It supplies the risk capital that unlocks opportunity for undercapitalized enterprises; it underwrites the development of new integrated capital solutions and approaches that build the impact investing field; and it nurtures leaders of color with the skills and experience to deploy capital.
