I’m Kellen Patterson and I am the Director of Ride Operations (DRO) for Team 13. I’ve known about Bike4Alz since I was in the 4th grade. Even then, I was awestruck by the achievement of cycling across the country and encouraged by the work being done.

A few years ago, my Great Aunt Vianne was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Vianne has always been a strong, faithful, adventurous spirit. These qualities were evident to me, even having only met Vianne a handful of times. This summer, I’ll be riding in honor of her and my family. I know there are thousands of other remarkable individuals, like Vianne, who share the burden of Alzheimer’s Disease. It is my mission to raise as much money as possible to help end this terrible illness. I will do so alongside my teammates, family, friends, and members of every community I encounter.
