Hello, my name is Ryan Riggs, and I’m a pre-med student at Western Kentucky University. I am one of the Event Planners for Bike4Alz Team 13. I grew up in Hopkinsville, KY, and now serve as the president of the American Medical Student Association and the brotherhood chair of the FIJI fraternity. I attend Living Hope Church, where my faith in Jesus Christ inspires my commitment to serving others. I’m pursuing a career in healthcare because I care deeply about making a positive impact in people’s lives, especially in times of need. Outside of academics and leadership, I enjoy exercising and spending time with family and friends.
I’m riding for Bike4Alz because I believe in the mission to raise awareness and fight Alzheimer’s disease. While I don’t have a personal connection to the illness, I’m deeply moved by the stories of those who have been affected and the impact it has on families and communities. Alzheimer’s is a devastating disease, and I want to contribute to the effort to support research, advocate for a cure, and bring hope to those fighting it. Through this journey, I aim to honor those impacted and help raise awareness for this important cause.
