At Thrive Mahoning Valley, we believe everyone deserves access to independent transportation. Our Pedal Forward Program has been providing FREE bikes to residents in the Youngstown/Warren area for the past year, helping our community stay connected and mobile.

Every journey starts somewhere, and for many of our neighbors—whether they’re starting fresh in a new city, state, or country, or local individuals beginning anew—having a bike is a crucial step forward. This includes young people starting their first jobs, adults securing new employment, and internationals joining our community. So far, we've gifted over 80 adult bikes over the past year to individuals in need, enabling them to start new chapters in their lives. These bikes provide independence and freedom, especially for those without cars, and fill the gaps left by public transportation.
