Retreat in the Woods
May 8–10

This May, Birds of a Feather is heading to Hocking Hills for a beautiful weekend together. We’ll arrive Friday evening, spend the full day Saturday, and close Sunday morning.

We’ve rented an A-frame house in the woods. It sleeps 10, so the group will be small.

This is a chance to step away from daily life and be together in nature. We’ll share meals, mark time with Jewish ritual, spend time outside, and enjoy conversation, laughter, and whatever unfolds naturally. There may be a few surprises along the way.

Birds of a Feather, and this retreat, are largely funded by the Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati, which allows the cost to remain very accessible. In that spirit, this is something we co-create. I’ll ask everyone to help a bit with food prep, cleanup, and small shared responsibilities.

Mostly, this is a chance to step away, be in nature, and be together.
