What a year it has been for Brave Girls Gather! We started 2024 with a call to “make room” for Jesus, and as we approach the end of the year, we’re celebrating Him as our Greatest Gift!

This year, we had the incredible opportunity to partner with YouVersion to launch B1 Bible Studies on the Bible App, creating new opportunities for women and girls to connect digitally around God’s Word. The Make Room and Intersections studies have reached over 10,000 downloads and 5,500 completions!

The Be the Brave Ones podcast has been a great success, averaging 200 downloads a week even during our off season! Women and teens are tuning in to hear conversations that inspire them to live bravely, build godly community, and pass on courageous faith to those around them.

One of our most cherished moments this year was our Summer of Joy series. Women and girls came together all summer long for Bible study meetups, meaningful conversations, fun, fellowship, and even serving together in our community.

While we have so much to celebrate, what excites us most is hearing how women and girls are growing in their faith and making lasting connections with God and each other. Take a look at what Julia Perez, a local Brave Girls Gather participant, had to say:

“At the end of last school year, I was invited to the first Brave Girls Gather event of the summer. I decided to give it a try and ended up really loving it. That’s when I began to truly try living for the Lord and not the world. I still struggle at times, but I know that as long as I have the Lord, He will guide me.”

As we closed out the year, our local community in Tampa, Florida, faced some unexpected challenges with back-to-back record hurricanes, but parts of the Brave Girls Gather community rallied together to support those who’ve lost everything. Your generosity helped make it possible for us to be a beacon of hope in these difficult times!
