 This Black Children’s Book Week, Brown Babies n’ Books is expanding access, representation, and joy through our first-ever Virtual Storytime Series — streaming live daily at 12PM & 6PM EST.

 Brown Babies n’ Books is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on building legacy through literacy, representation, and community. What began as intimate Brooklyn storytimes has grown into a vibrant movement uplifting Black authors, illustrators, families, and culturally-rooted storytelling spaces.

This week-long virtual series allows families everywhere — beyond NYC — to cozy up from the comfort of home for:

 ✨ Live read-alouds with celebrated Black authors

✨ Meaningful conversations about identity, culture & confidence

✨ Interactive Q&As for children and parents

✨ Direct links to purchase and support featured authors

✨ Community connection rooted in joy and belonging
