Black Girls Go Global (BGGG) is on a mission to empower and inspire the next generation of Black women in S.T.E.A.M. We equip Black girls to become global leaders and changemakers — especially in fields where they remain vastly underrepresented.

Through transformative cultural exchange programs, international travel, and hands-on S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) experiences, we help Black girls in grades 9–12 see the world and see themselves in it.

The numbers are clear:

Black women make up only 2.5% of the science and engineering workforce in the United States.
Less than 5% of U.S. medical school students are Black women.
In tech, Black women account for just 3% of the computing workforce.

BGGG is changing that narrative by providing early exposure, mentorship, and global perspectives that inspire confidence and break down barriers.
