Black Mothers Rest Nest 2024

At "Resting during Unrest," we'll delve into this important question and discover practical strategies for finding rest and solace, even in the midst of turmoil. Through a series of activities designed to cater to individual needs, participants will have the opportunity to rest their physical bodies, find mental respite, and cultivate spiritual and emotional grounding in community.

This pop-up experience offers a safe and nurturing environment where Black Mothers can prioritize their well-being and connect with others who understand their unique experiences and challenges.

To make this event possible, we are seeking sponsors and offerings to cover the costs of rental space, food, rest practitioners, childcare, and supplies needed to create the perfect "Rest Nest" for approximately 40 Black Mothers.
