In May 2023, our little Julia was diagnosed with leukemia, turning our world upside down. Suddenly, life felt uncertain, filled with countless questions and a heavy cloud over our hearts. A year later, after facing the initial challenges, we discovered the incredible Blue Skies Ministry. They provide retreats & fun days for families dealing with childhood cancer, and it felt almost too good to be true—until we experienced it ourselves.

We were fortunate to receive their generous sponsorship, which allowed our family to attend a four-day retreat. This time together was deeply healing. Connecting with other families facing similar struggles, seeing the children laugh and play without worries, and being surrounded by caring professionals made a world of difference for us.
