Board Giving 25-26

Dear Beech Hill Board Members,

As we approach the end of the year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that we’ve accomplished together and to thank each of you for your dedication to the Beech Hill School community. We know what it takes to run this school-the commitment, the hard work, and the deep care that every member of this community gives each day.

I joined the board a little over four years ago, but my connection to Beech Hill began long before that. Thirteen years ago, I met Emma Culver (pictured above in May of 2014 at BHS) when she interviewed at Brewster. I still remember that meeting clearly-her passion for learning and her description of Beech Hill left a lasting impression. Her drive and warmth were felt, and her love of the school that nurtured curious, confident learners resonated deeply with me. Rick shares that high schools are always happy to have Beech Hill students, and that statement is so true!

Last year reminded us just how critical our support is. Without the government funding that came through, we would have been in a very different position. This year, as we prepare to celebrate Beech Hill’s 15th anniversary in the Spring, we have an opportunity to ensure that BHS continues to thrive.

At a time of year when we pause to reflect with gratitude, I ask each of you to join me in making a gift to the Beech Hill School before December 31, 2025. Our goal is for 100% participation from the board-not only because every dollar matters, but because our shared commitment speaks volumes. When we, as a governing body, demonstrate our belief in this school through giving, it strengthens our ability to inspire support from families, alumni, and the wider community.

I recognize that each of us is able to participate at different levels, but I encourage you to give as generously as you can. Your contribution, at any amount, demonstrates your belief in Beech Hill and the transformative work happening here every day.

Thank you for your continued service, your belief in our mission, and your partnership as we continue to build Beech Hill’s future together.

With Gratitude,

Margaret Martin
