Story

TICKETS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. However, you can still DONATE to help people thrive after a brain injury, concussion or stroke.

Your support of Bocce for Brains helps people thrive after brain injury, concussion or stroke!

Join us for an outdoor, family-friendly day of fun as teams compete in Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery’s inaugural Bocce Ball Tournament at Marin Bocce Federation in San Rafael, CA. A maximum of 20 teams of 2 will compete in a friendly competition while guests cheer them on. Individual players will be combined to form teams. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The winner will earn a fun prize and bragging rights as the first ever “Bocce for Brains” champ. Players of all skill levels are welcome. Players 8 years and older can participate on your team. However, there will not be a separate children’s tournament and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Want to come for the fun, but don’t want to play?

Spectator Tickets are available for those who would like to attend, cheer on the teams, and socialize. Lunch and refreshments are included. Join us for all or part of the day.

Can't attend? You can still DONATE to support healing!

Your donation to Schurig Center will help provide rehabilitation, brain injury education, and connection for hundreds of people this year as they adjust to life after brain injury.

Benefiting Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery

You can help fill gaps in care, inspire renewed hope, and open the door to new possibilities for brain injury survivors and their families.

Harnessing the healing power of community, Schurig Center helps people adjust to life changes and thrive after brain injury. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people living with the effects of an acquired brain injury, like TBI, concussion, stroke and other causes. Schurig Center picks up where the healthcare system leaves off by providing rehabilitation, brain injury education, and supportive services designed specifically to help brain injury survivors and family caregivers continue their recovery journey. Serving Marin, Sonoma and the San Francisco Bay Area since 1985. SchurigCenter.org

Your donation lets survivors know they are valuable members of our community who deserve access to the support they need to not only survive, but thrive after brain injury. If you are in a position to help, please give as generously as you can today. Your donation will help provide rehabilitation, support, and connection for over 400 people this year. Thank you!
