Our latest borehole is currently underway at Bonyancha Primary School. This is the first borehole that we are tackling by ourselves and it has been very eye opening. The costs have unfortunately been much more than the initial quote and despite best efforts to keep costs down as much as humanly possible, we are now in need of help. Normally, we choose projects in alignment with other nonprofits to help with costs.
However, this project was a promise made to Kenya's Olympic medalist and 2025 NYC Marathon Champion, Hellen Obiri, to put one in her hometown of Kisii County and at a school very close to her immediate family. Do let it be known she has also helped!
With that said, your support means so much at this point as we need to raise $6600 to fund the final phase of the project. Every contribution will help immensely come one step closer to providing a sustainable water source for the 300 children at this school. Thank you for considering a donation of any size so we can bring this project to a close!
For COMPLETE transparency, I have also uploaded the itemized invoices and the respective quote for Phase 3 so you can see the breakdown of the costs align with what is being requested. I'm not sure others do this but I want to be as transparent as possible and showcase that 100% of donations go directly to this project and not a single penny goes elsewhere.
Below you will find an invoice for PHASE 1 and 2 that is finished and PAID IN FULL
Please note the quote is in Kenyan Shilling [KES]

Below you will find a quote for PHASE 3 that we are currently in need of help to begin.

Thank you so much for helping us bring clean water to the children of the school and surrounding community!
