Adopt a boot for $17.76 a month. The Boots of Honor Memorial™ holds 7,970 combat boots. Each one stands for a fallen service member. Help keep every one of them remembered every day, not just on Memorial Day.

We are 3% of the way to 300 adopted boots. Will yours be next?

Behind every boot is a family who still carries their memory. (Boot count as of September 2026.)

For years the memorial stood behind military gates. In March 2026, Memories of Honor became its caretaker. In May 2026, we brought it into public view in Franklin, Tennessee. Memories of Honor was founded by Amy Cotta, a Blue Star Mother of a U.S. Marine.

A memorial this size does not take care of itself. Between displays, every boot has to be stored, repaired, recorded, and made ready to stand again. That work happens all year, mostly out of sight, and it only happens if people like you carry it.

How it works

Step 1: Choose how many boots to adopt. One boot is $17.76 a month.

Step 2: Add a name if you want to give in honor or in memory of someone.

Step 3: Hear from us with updates before the memorial stands again.

You can change or stop your monthly gift at any time from the link in your receipt.

Why $17.76? 1776 is the year this country began. These boots stand for the people who gave their lives for it.

Where your gift goes: safe storage and repairs, accurate records for every hero, moving and setting up the memorial for public displays, and keeping it open to the public.

When the memorial stands again, the boots you adopted stand with it.

Every Day is Memorial Day.

Memories of Honor is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit ensuring America's fallen service members are remembered and the families who carry their memory are seen and supported.
