Crane Charity Classic is proud to support this year’s Bowling for Heroes Event in Support of Heroes in Transition!

More about Heroes in Transition:

Heroes In Transition (HIT), a 501(C)3 nonprofit based in Mashpee, Massachusetts, was founded by Cyndy Jones and her late husband, Kenneth, following the death of their only son, U.S. Marine Captain Eric A. Jones, who was killed in a helicopter crash while flying a combat mission in Afghanistan in October 2009. From that tragedy, Cyndy and Kenneth formed HIT to honor Eric's life, service, and sacrifice.

Now in our 17th year, HIT offers 15 programs that support thousands of individuals each year. Our programs are aimed at building community, strengthening relationships, empowering individuals, and serving as a pathway to healing for service members and veterans.

HIT knows that when one member of the military family serves, the entire family serves.
HIT's programs are unique in they not only assist service members and veterans, but their immediate family members, including their partners/spouses and their children.

Veterans face a host of complications due to military service, including deployments, serving in combat, frequent relocations while in the military which can cause instability for themselves and their loved ones, loss of community that is so intertwined with military service, difficulty accessing military benefits, and difficulty finding purpose once out of the military. Our programs seek to address these challenges through four key areas:

● Healing Individuals and Families
● Building Community
● Strengthening Relationships
● Empowerment & Resiliency
