For five powerful seasons, Black Pod Awards has been the vital platform where independent Black voices are celebrated, spotlighted, and empowered. We've championed incredible talent, and recognized 126 winners and 350 nominees who prove Black podcasts deserve to be heard, seen, and honored at the top.

Now, we face an unexpected and critical challenge. Our primary financial supporter has stepped back, putting the future of our 2025 awards season at immediate risk.

Today marks Day 1 of our urgent 6-day campaign to secure the future of Black Pod Awards and ensure our work of empowering Black podcasters continues going and growing. While our overall goal for this 6-day campaign is $15,000, we have a crucial immediate target: to raise $2,504 by the end of today.

This initial amount is critical to reopening our applications portal immediately and continuing the crucial process of identifying the next wave of award-winning Black podcasters. Without this sum, we simply cannot reopen the doors.
