If you’ve spent time with me in the past, you probably want to see me get hit in the face.
Now’s your chance. I’m throwing my gloves in the ring to help raise awareness for Year Up Atlanta. An awesome group that's working to make Atlanta a better place for everyone.
A Brighter Future for Atlanta is Worth Fighting For
It's hard to sit in Piedmont Park or lean on the Jackson Street Bridge and not fall in love with Atlanta. From EAV to Midtown to Buckhead. Atlanta future looks bright, and together we can make Atlanta's future even brighter for everyone.
Year Up’s mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by providing urban young adults with the skills, experience, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through professional careers and higher education.
Year up achieves this mission through a high support, high expectation model that combines marketable job skills, stipends, internships and college credits. Our holistic approach focuses on students’ professional and personal development to place these young adults on a viable path to economic self-sufficiency.
About Grant
My name is Grant, I moved to Atlanta after college. I'm excited to get an opportunity to try to give back to the city we call home. I have never been an athlete. My athletic awards in school were usually "Most Improved". The only team I was varsity on was the Math team. Over the past 6 months I've been pushing myself out of my comfort zone to get in shape and to learn the art of boxing.
Journey with me!
I'd love to get any tips you have, or if you ever want to join a workout, let me know!
