BRBYTES works year-round designing, studying, and supporting computational thinking and computer science courses and tools for 7-12th-grade students, and hosts an annual computer science virtual teacher training. In the last decade, BRBYTES has designed 7 secondary computing courses and trained 100+ computer science teachers who offered BRBYTES curricula to 1000+ students. Education Northwest published an impact report on BRBYTES premier course Introduction to Computational Thinking which stated that participation in the course had a significant positive impact on Algebra 1 state test scores, and future mathematics enrollment. BRBYTES strives to increase the breadth and depth of this impact, bringing further results to further classrooms.
