We care about the air we share! We are raising funds so that we can supply Miami’s community gatherings & creative spaces with free air purifiers and other vital tools for protection against COVID-19 and other airborne pathogens. Cleaner air = safer gatherings.

We’re Black and brown queers, artists, organizers, & healing arts practitioners who have directly and indirectly been impacted by COVID-19. We want to see our beloved community gatherings and creative spaces in Miami, FL — the ancestral lands of the Tequesta, Miccosukee, and Seminole people — thrive.

Amidst an ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are focusing on increasing indoor air quality as one of many important ways that we can protect our community’s health, safety, and well-being.

Breathing Room is a free air purifier lending library ensuring cleaner, accessible air for community gatherings & creative spaces in Miami.
