Since 1982, The Gaudium Awards have been given to men and women whose lives have “illumined the horizon of human experience” through their extraordinary vocations in the arts and public service.

The Gaudium Award ceremony is not only honorific but through the generosity of those attending significant funds are raised which are distributed annually to worthwhile charitable organizations.

This year's honorees include Jane Pauley, Jeff Harnar, Alex Rybeck, Baayork Lee, John Douglas Thompson.

Jane Pauley - Emmy-winning television host and journalist

Jeff Harnar and Alex Rybeck - Award-winning singer/pianist duo

Baayork Lee - International choreographer and dancer

John Douglas Thompson - Highly celebrated classical stage, film and TV actor

The Gaudium Awards gala will benefit:

Nazareth Housing and Louise's Pantry - providing nutritious meals and other immediate needs to hundreds of families each week struggling with food insecurity.

Opportunity Music Project - a 100% tuition-free music education program creating diversity and equity within classical music for children in New York City.

The National Asian Artists Project - showcasing the work of Asian-American theatre artists through performance, outreach and educational programming.
