Summer Bridge Activities books are designed to maintain and improve academic skills over the summer months. This opportunity is available for grades PreK through 7th. The cost of the Summer Bridge Activities book is $5.00 per book. Retail price is $12.99, but PFE and the Fort Calhoun Schools will pay the remaining portion! Order by Friday April 12. Summer Bridge Activities is an AWARD-WINNING summer learning series that is an easy and proven way to help children retain their classroom skills. Research shows that on average, children can lose 2.8 months of grade-level equivalency skills over their summer vacation. By using Summer Bridge Activities books students enter their new grades prepared and confident, while introducing them to new topics to be covered in the upcoming grade level. PFE will provide a reward for those children who return the parent/guardian signed Summer Bridge Activities Completion Certificate (located at the end of the book) during the start of next school year.
