Pioneers for Education (PFE) is the parent/teacher organization that supports the students and schools in the Fort Calhoun School District.

The PFE gives back to both the high school and elementary school by financially supporting the following, to name a few:

- Activities - Post Prom, Homecoming Fireworks, Spring Carnival, Donuts with Dad, Mornings with Mom, Spirit Fridays, Staff Appreciation Week

- Educational Events - Speakers & Assemblies, Art After School, One School/One Book, Summer Bridge Workbook, Senior Scholarships, PBIS incentives, teacher/classroom supply requests

In addition to our corporate sponsorships and fundraising opportunities (Fall Walk-a-thon & Fish Fry dessert night), we count on membership dues to help support these activities, events, programs, and items for our schools to enrich, engage, and celebrate students!

PFE holds monthly meetings, which members, non-members, and school faculty can attend to learn what we are up to. Being a member of PFE does NOT require volunteering, though volunteers are always welcome!
