In rural communities outside Abuja, Nigeria—and across many developing nations—countless children have never touched a computer. But through bold vision, grassroots leadership, and global collaboration, that reality is changing.

The Nation of Cherut's Youth Digital Literacy Program through its Youth Ministry, in partnership with the Reves African Youth and Children Development Foundation, is equipping youth aged 7 to 15 with essential digital skills—ranging from Microsoft Office and Canva to typing and internet literacy. These students, many of whom live in underserved rural communities, are being exposed to the digital world for the very first time.

This life-changing initiative was founded by Chibuzo Ogbonnaya, a young visionary from Nigeria who established the Reves African Youth and Children Development Foundation under the mentorship of Queen Shanta Lana Hereford, through her company Shanta Lana LLC and nonprofit, the Center for Truth and Healing (CFTH). Over the past four years, Chibuzo has used income earned from his work with Shanta Lana LLC and other clients to independently launch and sustain this grassroots program.

Every weekend, Chibuzo volunteers his time to train dozens of eager youth, investing in their futures with heart and humility. This program has grown steadily and now stands ready to scale—and your support can help make that possible.

🌍 Expanding Our Impact: E-Waste, Training & Sustainability

In alignment with our commitment to both digital equity and environmental responsibility, we are launching a new E-Waste Collection & Refurbishment Program—a collaborative initiative between:

The Nation of Cherut Climate Action & Climate Change Ministry
The Nation of Cherut Workforce Training & Development Ministry
The Nation of Cherut Youth Ministry

This program will:

Reduce electronic waste from entering landfills by collecting discarded tech equipment
Train youth and adults in device repair, refurbishment, and maintenance
Provide free or low-cost refurbished devices to underserved youth and adults who otherwise could not afford them

This is more than a recycling program—it’s a green-tech empowerment model that combines sustainability, skill-building, and equitable tech access.

Purchase gently used and new laptops, tablets, and accessories for classroom and community distribution
