When the Health at Every Size® Provider Listing launched, I (ani) could never have imagined how essential it would become to our community. Today, with hundreds of active listings featuring passionate, committed HAES®-aligned providers, the need for affirming care still far outpaces availability. Each year, thousands of people turn to the HAES® Provider Listing in search of safe, respectful healthcare.

At ASDAH, we are deeply committed to supporting fat people seeking affirming and accessible care. Growing and sustaining the Health at Every Size® Provider Listing requires multiple layers of care, education, and infrastructure. From introducing providers to the Health at Every Size® Principles and Framework of Care, to guiding them through a pathway towards HAES® alignment, to fostering meaningful community connections and growth — we are building the scaffolding needed to expand access to HAES®-aligned care.

This year marked powerful progress toward making Health at Every Size®-aligned care more widely available as we:

Added and maintained over 200 active profiles on the HAES® Provider Listing
Reached more than 100 providers new to Health at Every Size®
Strengthened regional connections in areas where HAES®-aligned providers are scarce
Hosted over 1,000 providers and community members attending live ASDAH events and accessing sessions through our learning library

With 99% of attendees reporting that ASDAH offerings help them provide better care for fat patients, we are proud to build on decades of work led by fat activists and HAES® advocates. This foundation makes our progress possible — and this moment makes continued growth critical. In an increasingly hostile healthcare and cultural environment, your support ensures this vital work not only survives but expands.
