Thursday, March 13th, 6:00 PM at the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center.
All ages are welcome.
Hundreds of bird species migrate through Chicago every year, and glass presents a major issue for these beautiful creatures. Broken Flight highlights the work of dedicated avian advocates who try to rescue the birds that collide with Chicago’s buildings. The tireless work of these bird lovers underscores our connection to the natural world.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with Erika Valenciana, The Alaska Wildlife Alliance, Dr. Karen Higgs, DVM with Bird Treatment and Learning Center, Tamara Zeller, Division of Migratory Bird Management with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Arin Underwood with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game's Threatened, Endangered, and Diversity program.
